How to Become a Referee:
To become a referee in Oklahoma, you must first attend an 09 Recreational Referee Course. Candidates for the 09 course should be at least eleven years of age. The class is nine hours in length and has a 50 question multiple choice, true/false test which will be given at the completion of the course. The candidate must pass the test with a 75% score. Candidates will leave the course as a United States Soccer Federation registered referee with the appropriate badge. See the FAQ link on the menu bar to the left for answers to referee questions.

Please contact Parris via email and pre-register for the recert class. Do not expect to walk in the class without preregistering. A pre-test must be taken and brought with you to the class along with your $50 registration fee. Use the following link on the OSA website, found under the 'Referee Classes' link, for the pre-test: Recert Pre-test . Answers to the pre-test are posted at the bottom of the 'Referee' home page of the OSA website (www.oksoccer.com).
All referees must attend a recertification class every Fall to be eligible to referee in the following year. ([i.e. Fall 2012 recert clinics allow us to register for Spring 2013 refereeing].
Referees already registered for 2012 must attend a recertification class prior to January 1, 2013. Registering after January 1 will cost an extra $10 raising your registration fee to $60.
Any referee attending a recert class beginning July 1, 2012 must bring the $50 registration fee to the class OR bring a copy of the payment from the online registration with www.ussoccer.info/ link. This process will now allow referees to leave the recert (if you have passed the exam) as registered and with the 2013 badge.
